the assembly room
a multimedia exploration of identity and self-image, 2 hoursin the assembly room, participants explore identity and self-image through colour, texture, symbols, and the many little things that make us who we are. using acrylic paint, markers, glitter, stickers, beads, magazine clippings, and a collection of other creative materials, participants learn basic art theories and concepts while building a multimedia piece that reflects how they see themselves. there are no rules in the assembly room; participants are encouraged to experiment with unexpected materials and discover new ways of representing themselves through art.
recommended for group sizes under 15 (minimum 3), for ages 10 & up
the waiting room
a creative grounding & mindfulness session, 2 hoursthe waiting room is a quiet, guided art session that uses repetitive lines, shapes, patterns, and motifs to encourage focus and presence. with calming music in the background, participants gradually build a completed drawing or painting through simple, repetitive movements. the process is not about creating something perfect, it's more about taking some time to breathe deeply, quiet your mind, and focus on what is happening in front of you. participants are invited to work at their own pace while using creativity as a way to settle themselves into the present moment.
recommended for group sizes under 10 (minimum 3), for ages 14 & up
